To paint is to express an imagination that takes shape with every stroke of a brush. You think you held the brush that gave shape to your thoughts, as you painted. In the end, it dawns upon you that it was your thoughts that held you stead fast, giving you direction, as your painting took shape. Time stands still. The space around you no longer exists. The world becomes an illusion. Its just you and your canvas, a consistent pitter patter of your brush against the raw canvas accompanied by the occasional silent splash of water. Its meditation On-the-go...
Here's to one of my first 'forestscapes' on a canvas..:)
